Salco Specialties Inc.

Thank you for visiting, I started working at an early age with my father at the family business which was making and installing doors for high end projects , It was in 1985 that I became more serious about taking on the trade of becoming an installer for doors and hardware, so with my father’s help in 1985 I ventured out at sixteen while still in high school to pursue my own business installing doors while still working for the family business. It was not easy early on and I was humbled more than once, but after a while you start to remove the vinegar and you start to retain and learn more of what it means to be in business offering a service to folks and professionals.

When I was about twenty-one, I finally became a journeyman installer with help from many of the older men I worked with and from my father’s good work ethic and attention to quality. Working with my dad and these older craftsmen helped me to appreciate one very important value and that is very simply there is only one way to do things and that’s the right way from the beginning to the end of a project.
That knowledge and experience I gathered over the years from working with many experienced folks has been invaluable and it covers a variety of facets in our industry, such as perfecting the installation of doors and hardware , daily operations, management, project and construction management, purchasing, consultation, accounting, value engineering, contract negotiations, all aspects of estimating and bidding , project engineering, and project scheduling.

Mission: Salco’s goal is to provide our clients a turnkey installation from start to finish.
The goal for every project is for the contractor / owner to have a quality product installed as it was manufactured and for a smooth-running installation of the door package.

Some of the type of projects Salco Specialties has been involved in:

Thank you again for taking the time, it’s much appreciated.
